Too much bro, too much

31 years after my obsession with this mans music started someone books him to do shows here… about twenty years too late for me I think… or is it?

I own five albums in the Foetus catalogue plus other projects he did, notably Wiseblood plus a bunch of 12″s and EPs… it would seem my middle age crisis moment to see a supergroup has arrived.

Legendary musician, composer and producer J.G Thirlwell has announced his first ever New Zealand shows. The Australian artist (who embraces several alter-egos including Foetus, Clint RuinFrank Want and Steroid Maximus) has an enviable and highly-experimental back catalogue that stretches back more than 30 years and boasts collaborations with the likes of Nick CaveLydia LunchFaith No MoreSwans and more.
