The slightly scary old neighbor woman who lived next to our house

When ya routine get interuptted things turn to custard… says I the routine guy. And mine has been somewhat beaten around the head of late due to a few busy (for me) workweeks involving weekends… and as I slowly descend into my NGO end of year period where boredom is my norm I intend to get back on top of my posting here and my collecting of pictures of floors, grass and cats.

So musically what have ya missed that I’ve been hammering – not much I fear… for new season telly shows have been my major distraction from chores, life and musical interludes… but even in telly there be musical references that aren’t actually part of the telly – for younger readers telly is what we older people once watched broadcast TV on in our pre netflix, found on my computer digital world.

I’m pretty taken by Westworld this week – even though I think the premise of a old west type robot holiday park completely stupid, you can tell I’m not american I guess… anyways the show features a great train… a stupid management console table and enough white shit to build hundreds of robots whom you can root… not as good as the show is this old flanker of a song I didn’t like much then and it sounds even less delightful now… goth on ya goldilocks. I own this album I am embarrassed to say…

Another new offering is the Designated Survivor which so far I am really enjoying and shall continue until it goes down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole – which could be real soon. It doesn’t really have any musical links I can think of so here’s this song to wet ya whistle of why am I reading this blog and post – well why?

Sorry about hat – a truely shit song!

I really like Quarry  – a disillusioned Vietnam War vet, returns home to Memphis in 1972 only to find rejection and scrutiny at every step. A mysterious man known only as The Broker gives him an offer he can’t refuse – to work for him as a hitman. Its so far been a great ride and fantastic watch  -solid acting with admirably irritating as fuck characters… great sets and whatnot capturing an era and country I am have no expertise on so am calling ti 100% accurate… it does get extra thumbs up for the presence of records as something people had and loved though and some pretty cool tunes too boot

There are other shows too…. ones I’m not quite silly enough to stake my expert logging reputation on by mentioning cause they’re a bit silly – Aftermath for example

Anyway as older people than me sued to say Too Much TV will rot ya brain

Want some music – hop onto soundcloud there’s a bunch of end of season Space mixes dropping.
