Sometimes the best sound is…
…silence
Having just spent sometime outside the city I have had the great joy to actually have had moments when the only sound was silence – sometimes interupted by some bird calls. Now that I am back in the 09 I can hear the constant drone of the motorway and as comforting as this actually is, I shall miss the nothingness of silence
My musicial palette now cleansed and as such I am now about to dive headfirst into some old Factory Records stuff, ACR, Stockholm Monsters, Joy Division et al… for I finally saw Control and can’t wait to revisit some long unplayed albums and EPs – what a cracker of a movie! It gets the BobD three tubs of popcorn rating.
