After having a nice Saturday morning watching football and making a nice wee mix cd, I popped into the Faith site.
Imagine my surprise when I found this headline
DC10 closed for 60 days

DC10 is basically the only reason I was going there.

Yes this is really bad news for the island especially if they decide to do the same to Amnesia the two best clubs shut in mid season not a good idea. People will end up going elsewhere for their holidays i think DC1O could be on the verge of shutting down all together which would be very sad. It’s easily the best club in Ibiza and it’s an experience everyone should have at least once. Let’s hope the spanish authorities sort it out.

I am yet to hear anyone say anything nice about Space this year as well, which is decidedly depressing
We got to Watergate but not Berghain… Ricardo next Thursday should sort this out for me though, then Wagon Repair Saturday.
Total shit buzz re dc10. was even considering it myself….
Too many “tourists” at Space im no snob but its packed with people who want to say yeah i’ve been to space and got the t – shirt & literally they did. Also you cant move not even shuffle space & getting a drink means queing up for the best part of an hour. The closure of DC10 is a real bad move and if they do go ahead with doing the same to Amnesia the Ibizian tourist board will lose hundreads of thousands of euros if not millions. People come far and wide to get a taste of DC1O and then follow up with a night at Cocoon if this is no longer available people will head elsewhere for the summer gettaway.Friends of mine are already thinking about Brazil for Warung or Thailand for the full moon partys next year.
yeah i am 50-50 on whether i go to space on sunday, Paul Woolford is the only decent dj playing and it will cost $200nzd for me and wife to get in unless i swing somne freebies…which is unlikely
