Fearless Iranians From hell

Maybe its the change of season or too tight shorts but I’ve been craving something a little different in my musical offerings of late, less structure more noise and abstracts. Which is what held my attention with this mix, its different… doesn’t need nor seek beats to ground it and you never know quite what will happen next. Its mint in other words.


Ashkan Kooshanejad, also known as Ash Koosha is an Iranianmulti-instrumentalistcomposer, record producer and film director living in LondonUnited kingdom. He is the singer of the Iranian duo Take It Easy Hospital. He mainly plays synthesiser,bass and guitar. He played the lead role of an Iranian-Cannes jury prize winner docufiction film by director Bahman Ghobadi called No One Knows About Persian Cats which follows his band’s story scouring the Iranian underground music scene trying to find musicians to play in a festival in the UK.[1]

Kooshanejad sought asylum in the UK as a result of the reaction to the film in Iran.[2][3]
