Anniversaries can be funny things… this week is what I am calling my week of death… as three very important people in my life all died at various times during this week.

I can’t remember what it was that promoted the NEED to hear this track late last week but in my head it went and much to my dismay youtube only had live versions which didn’t satisfy my need to hear it… rather than dig out my vinyl vinyl itunes sorted me out for the song and some other site sorted me some other stuff so I now have their entire discography as my walking music for the week.
Not sure the sound stands the test of time that well but by god …

I’ll probably getmocked for this weeks choice, which is why I’ve been a tad slow to post this week.
Mocked for its a song I’ve not given a rest since a certain BMPer alerted me to the fact it existed – he should be along at same point to say something like “fucks sake bob”…
There are songs that move our body, some that move our soul and others that make us think… this does all three for me, albeit the body movement is quite restrained.

Spring sprung here last week, officially, and on the 1st we were rewarded with a stunning sunny but cool day… I dragged out a cover version of the song of the week that I have a fondness for by Mr Hermano but today here is the original by Carlos Santana from his 1979 album Oneness: Silver Dreams – Golden Reality.
This is the perfect tonic for a early morning rise where the birds are all you hear…. play it before traffic and other distractions kick in
