or tribute

But anyway, back to Shades of Jae.
this track is just divine, it doesn’t give you everything, it demands you to pay attention, the kick drum comes and goes …

This lp, sent my way by Benny, has become one of my all time faves.
Never has music conjured such an extraordinary visual in my mind, its creates a vision of an abandoned Old Victorian/Art deco mall with the ghost of a pianist in it.
this is up there with Stereolab and Suicide for music i put on when i don’t know what to listen to.
Also works pretty great as a `sunday, dead day’ music selection

I have the top 2 sorted, and the rest are all kinda fluid.

Groove Culture is Henry Maldonado on Henry St Music featuring the super smooth Arnold Jarvis on a disco loop …

This is the Beach boys song that gets me over the need to listen to alot of Beach Boys.  It features all the bits i like about them in a couple of mins, crazy bits, harmonious bits and its as catchy as Super-ebolaids!
it also features in Happy Feet, which is the only bit of that movie that is not awful
