Yesterday the Auckland chapter of the BMP went to visit MOTAT as for Aucklander’s it is free for August – cool council styles right there!

For all but Websta this was the first time we’d visited in many years.

Highlights for me:

Model Trains
Lancaster Bomber
Ride in a  Train & Steam Train

Lowlights:

No hot dogs – sorry for the building of expectations Ninja
My Ginger Slice – WTF was I thinking?
The way the childrens treasure hunt posts were hidden – I got my stamp at only two of the posts… dammit

Was a good days adventure and well recomended for them stuck in the city… next week swimming with lions
