What the hell is this stuff???
I have been finding me as much Cassy, Miss Fitz, Mara Trax stuff as possible of late. Its all super deep jackin house in the style of early Chicago house as in it uses an 808 and not a hell of a lot else. I can’t get enough presently!

I’m always surprised you don’t rate Melchior productions more as he seems to me to come very close to what these ladies are doing. Listening to his ‘searching’ 12″ again now actually, it is ace!
Anyhow I do dig on this stuff, but I have to be in the right mood, it is a fine line between spacious deep grooves and, well, being a bit boring and featureless.
