The Ninja

Ninja Ninjas are oft misunderstood creatures. Everyone seems to have this preconceived notion that all ninjas do are flip out of the shadows and kill people. I've struggled with this burden through my many existences within this particular space/time dimension until the fateful day I discovered M theory.

Booka Shade Live @ Studio in Auckland - Friday November 19th

Booka Shade Live @ Studio in Auckland - Friday November 19th

Booka Shade will be bringing their live show to the Studio in Auckland this Friday. It has to be said that we don’t often get large electronic acts of this calibre down this way - so it will be great to see a big scale event for something other than trance!

From the promoter:
Booka Shade will [...]

Last time he was in town he trucked [...]

Ricardo Villalobos & Jay Haze - Mellow Dee / Sunday Prayer

The other morning after arriving at work and doing the daily music discovery rounds, I came across a new Villalobos track that I hadn’t heard mentioned so decided I needed to grab it as it had been awhile in between Ricardo tracks for me.
It starts [...]

Willie Graff And Tuccillo - When The Sun Goes Down [Drumpoet]
After going through a bit of a full on love affair with drumpoet for awhile, I was pretty pleased to discover this new one on the weeekend. After listening to the track I had to do a bit of research as Willie Graff was a new name [...]

Wooooah……Easy Tiger

A quick monday morning post from me to get the week underway.

Christian Gangster Rap and High Energy Deep House

Christian Gangster Rap and High Energy Deep House

Let me just start by saying, praise jebus for music. In the bleakness that has been the last few weeks down this end of the world, holding onto sanity has been difficult of late, so I’ve been thankful for a few things that have been warming my spirit.
I’m not using the term “music” loosely here, [...]

Freaken Lazers Man! Kerri Chandler playing with lazer controllers

This video clip of Kerri Chandler using a lazer controller while playing Bar A Thym has always been a favourite of mine - very minority report and probably one of those love it or hate it things. Either way, you have to admit its better than a cube that changes colour.
(The good bit starts 1.30 [...]
