It’s all rather confusing really

There always comes a time with a band or musican where you part ways, havng had fun their direction and your preferences stop overlapping and its time to move on.

Sometimes you fight this urge in the often vein hope they’re redemm themselves by dropping something that tunes you back into that happy place and sometimes they do… this is one of the elements of fandom I guess.

here’s a track that whilst I like it a lot and has brought an act I was pretty much bored with back into my listening horizons – I’m a sucker for the ravey keyboard stabs – I’m not sure how long we’ll be hanging together as the song hasn’t the legs to give it a long listening lifespan for me and well I’d rather it not.

Then again with a new album on the horizon I may just be lured back into the world of these crazy Saffas. That wouldn’t be a bad thing… for now its been mys gon for this week and several smiles upon my face its brung.

I’m a sucker for a link and as such often when playing music on youtube I’ll check the related videos and load one up to see where it and it’s respective links lead me to. more often than not a voyage of interesting listening awaits… sometimes if unlucky you get trapped on a page where all the related videos pont to the same artist, this is the point I stop if boredom or whatever hasn’t struck first.

Tonight I got am are currently happily enscounced in a particluar song theme and the music geek inside is very happy indeed… and in keeping with my resolution to post some more I give you riffing on a theme; The Wayfaring Stranger

Today we welcome Ivy Marguerite Webster to the BMP family.

She arrived via the wonderful iNat yesterday at 3pm weighing in at 2.67kgs.

Went and saw Steve Ignorant fom punk band CRASS at the KA last night

it was fab

When I was younger a friend and I would often indulge ourselves in a game of pool and a lager or two after a days surfing… they were as they say the best of times… and of the music we used to listen two tracks are firmly lodged in my mind – this is one of them, from their debut self titled album which included the simply brilliant Talking To A Stranger Aussies Hunters and Collectors give to you Run Run Run.

It’s been quite a month in my world… I havn’t indulged my own musical self in quite my usual random manner. Its been amonth dominated by local sounds – which isn’t altogether that strange, this was just a tad more intense than usual.

Anyways none of that makes much sense in the context of todays musicial pick except that its a local track… one that has really got under my skin.
