All time top 5 house sets

Well not really the all time top 5 – because that would be far too hard to decide. While listening to Dixon’s Body Language 4 for the umpteenth time I started thinking about those go-to sets that you seem to thrash but yet still give you that great sense of comfort and enjoyment years (or hundreds of listens) later.
For me, without doing it consciously, I keep finding I go back to :
- Joris Voorn – Resident Advisor Podcast #62
- Dixon – Body Language 4
- Dennis Ferrer – Essential Mix 27-09-2008
- Jackmate – mnml ssgs mx07
- Wolf & Lamb – Ibiza Podcast
So what sets do you find yourself coming back to over and over again – even years later?

#1 forever…this set is fantastic:
Richie Hawtin & Ben Sims – Electro Tramp.mp3
Only house!?
I’d probably find some links if I weren’t lazy and drunk. Maybe later
Cassy@DEMF 2008/
Guillaume Coutu Dumont@ DEMF 2008
Both mainly because I was there, great sets of house in the sun in the 313
Michael Mayer @ Fu 2005
Another set which holds special memories for me, Mayer played an amazing set which kind of set the tone for my next few years of musical enthusiasm.
Dixon – RA mix
To me this heads off his Body Language mix a bit and possibly is my favourite RA podcast though its very hard to call (Prins Thomas one may top it!). Some great rnb and deeeep house, I can always go back to this one!
Shed – mnmlssgs 04
This one might surprise you if you are more familiar with the dour (but good) techno that is more often on offer over at mnmlssgs.. Shed throws down an hour of old school house. Vocals, piano’s, wailing horn sections – it’s all in there. If I’m ever a bit depressed I listen to this, it is an undeniable party.
Seth Troxler – bunker podcast
It is really hard to pick one troxler set – his ibiza voice, save the cannibals, RA sets are all amazing too. I could listen to this guy mix all day.
the troxler bunker podcast is indeed awesome.
Luciano – Welcome To The Future
Andrew Weatherall – Land Of Oz 1988
Graeme Park & MikePickering – Hacienda NYE 1989
Websta – Stinkfinger Sunday Lounger (startling)
can’t think of a fifth
