Mixes I’m digging

Nothing special today, just a few mixes I’ve picked up over the past few weeks.

Kicking off in house territories, little white earbuds has an interesting interview and mix from Tin Man. I’d heard a little of Tin Man’s stuff, being aware of him from the start of Tama Sumo’s Panorama Bar Cd from a few years back. He has an interesting production style, and this is an enjoyable wee mix. Check it out.

Which seat can I taaake

It’s not always about us… some music is simply for others – be it an age thing, a style thing or simply a ting thing…
I care not for this song nor the business model it supports… art is commerce and t(w)eens are a market every fat aging white male covets…
enjoy or not depending on your market position

Jazz has such a long history and such a large amount of writing has been done on it, it feels a bit intimidating for me to talk about it. No such qualms about playing it though, and a few weeks ago I finally took advantage of the recording setup at my new home to pull out some of my favourites for a mix which has been up on my soundcloud and now …

Do you have a cigarette?

Matias Aguayo’s Beats in Space mix from the other week was possibly my favourite in a long while and that’s tough because i’ve been enjoying them much more than any other podcast for a while.
Some live footage of the show here, bird whistles included. Dude rules!
