Props to the Ninja for …

Turns out, it wasn’t His solo-ish side project Atlas Sound turned out to be a much needed breath of fresh air from the Deerhunter sound. I still haven’t listened to it nearly enough to warrent it a place in my favourite albums. I think the fact he wrote most of it about being stuck in hospital beds and in his room turned me …

So the NZ contingent of the BMP have just recently returned back from a most successful weekender in Sydney, as we’ve been rabbitting on about for awhile now.
Greg Wilson & Luciano on a boat only a 3 hour flight away. We’re there.
Huge amounts of planning went into preparing for the trip, so much so that I realised I hadn’t actually applied for leave from work until 2 days beforehand. That said, I had managed to sort out the somewhat elusive boat tickets for the BMP well in advance, so the …

Bursting on to stage in his swanky tailored suit, Nick and the band punched their way in to Hold On To Yourself before breaking in to Dig, Lazrus Dig’s …
Decemeber 6th sees the 2nd officially sanctioned BMP roadtrip, this time crossing the tasman to see Luciano play on a boat in Sydney harbour.
Seeing as the first Dixon roadtrip with the now infamous kermit-mobile went so well, the early signs are all participants are holding grand hopes of a most excellent adventure.
